Wyandotte
Wyandotte's are a large, fluffy breed of chicken with a rose comb and clean legs. They lay about 200 light brown eggs a year. They are cold and heat tolerant, but more cold tolerant.
Wyandottes are large and do not fly as well as smaller breeds making them easier to contain. They are also very docile birds and not prone to flightiness.
We raise Silver Laced Wyandottes and Blue/Black/Splash Laced Red Wyandottes.

Silver Laced Wyandotte
Silver laced Wyandottes are breathtakingly beautiful birds. We began with them in 2022 and will work every year to improve. Lacing is a very difficult color variety to work with but we are fortunate to have started with nice birds! Our birds are from Jerry Foley lines. Silver laced breeds true.

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes
We have had many struggles obtaining Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. They are a project variety so finding good specimens can be difficult! We have culled way more of the birds we purchased than we have kept to even begin the project! The project has much to work on but we are happy now with the birds we have to start with and hopeful that through good selection some day we will have nice show quality birds to be proud of! For the current future we will be working on maintaining type and improving lacing. Our BLR Wyandottes will be a combination of 4 different lines.
Blue does not breed true, in this variety we have Black Laced Red, Blue Laced Red, and Splash Laced Red. All 3 variations have their own special beauty. Black laced reds are very hard to capture in photos but are lovely to see in person!
We currently only have a small number of breeding birds of this variety so will likely not have hatching eggs in 2023, but may have some chicks available.
