Bantam Cochins
Bantam Cochins are small versions of LF Cochins. They are very fully feathered with heavily feathered yellow legs. They have an overall appearance of being very round. They are easy going, docile chickens that come in a variety of colors and make wonderful pets.
The first chickens I fell in love with as a teenager where a group of bantam Cochins and a little Mille Fleur D'uccle. As such it seems only fitting that my first bantam Cochin is mille fleur in color.
We will likely not have any cochins available this year as we add to our flock. We plan to raise mille fleur, mottled, and calico.
APA accepted color varieties for bantam Cochins:
Black, White, Blue, Splash, Mottled, Barred, Birchen, Brown Red, Buff, Red, Partridge, Colombian, Gold Laced, and Silver Laced.
Mille Fleur and Calico are project varieties
